In January 2006, NASCAR's finest teams rolled out the machines that they hoped would be key to fueling a championship season.

During test sessions at Daytona International Speedway, drivers and teams used special vehicles to determine which set-ups and configurations generated the most speed, optimum control and best overall performance. The results of these testing exercies will help pave the way when making on-the-spot decisions on race day throughout the 2006 season. Testing also allows drivers and teams to get reacquainted with race-day procedures after the off-season break.

Now, the special assortment of testing stock cars will be available as 1:24 scale die-cast replicas. Each car will feature the actual paint scheme that was showcased during the Daytona test sessions.
